On June 4th, 2023, Fatima Fakhar, the newly crowned Mrs. Pakistan World 2023, along with other titleholders, visited the Waga Border in Punjab. She became the second Mrs. Pakistan to visit this historic location. 

Apart from charity work, all titleholders are required to visit places of historical significance in Pakistan. In her own words, Mrs. Pakistan, Fatima Fakhar, expressed, “I am very happy to be wearing the sash of my country. It makes me proud to represent Pakistan wherever I go and also encourages married women to participate in events like Mrs. Pakistan.”
