Sonia Ahmed, President and founder of pageants for Pakistan, said, ““People always mistake pageantry to be a part of the modeling industry, and that is not true. We don’t have designers working for us or clothes that we have to get models for! We are like the Olympics but in a subtle way where representation of one’s country is a must. Miss Pakistan is an honor received, an accolade for any woman at any age, as well as it’s a title that opens the doors for many women to travel and know other like-minded women from all around the world. Our mission is to talk about Pakistan and let people know of the existence of our Pakistani culture. It’s a sisterhood that we enjoy and strive to achieve, and the best thing is that we are in Pakistan, the hub of the most beautiful women in the world, where women of all walks of lives can unite for one purpose and that is to keep the spirit of Pakistan alive through their valuable representation. I am honoured and pleased that the soil of Pakistan will see the 4th ceremony for the winners of Miss, Mrs. And Ms. Pakistan. Pakistan has now become accustomed to pageants due to the 20 years that I have given in keeping the pageant scene of Pakistan alive. These are the girls who are the future of pageantry for Pakistan. And I am honored to complete 21 years for Pakistan’s pageantry.”
The crowning ceremony will take place at the Grand Palm Hotel in Lahore on the 31st of May 2023. New queens and new faces will be introduced to represent Pakistan internationally.
